Response to second negative mailer

It is nice to know that the people my opponent paid to research my legislative record found it so clean there was nothing to use in a negative campaign mailer.
It is amusing to note that last week my opponent criticized me for supporting bills that the Democrats who controlled Raleigh didn’t want, including bills that would have lowered taxes, while this week he tries to make people think that as a legislator I would try to raise taxes. No one with any knowledge of my record who has any intelligence or any integrity would try to portray me as a tax-and-spend liberal.
And did you ever wonder why, if I’m as bad as these negative mailers claim, the people who used to support Aaron Plyler and his Democratic team are contributing so much to pay for my opponent’s mailers? You would think the Democrats would like to elect an ineffective Republican legislator who has no problem with raising taxes. Hmmm…
